Hume City Council (HCC) invites tenders for the Craigieburn Bowling Green Re-Construction

Craigieburn Bowling Club has experienced partial subsidence for a number of years, where topdressing was undertaken to resolve the issue. This practice is no longer resolving the issue.

The works covered by this Specification comprise the formation of the sub-grade utilising a capping layer, sub-base and base formation, installation of new ditches and installation of sub-surface drainage and bluestone gravel blanket.

Also included is the specification for the growing medium, grass type and planting.

The works involve all testing for particle size distribution of the existing growing medium and other suitable growing mediums to determine its suitability.

HCC's preferred practical completion (PC) date is 30th November 2020 to provide the summer months for establishment. If tenderers think they cannot meet this date, they can propose an an earliest possible PC date.
