Scope of Work
The Yandi Loop Tertiary Crushing building is located adjacent to the stockyard and rail loop. The tertiary crushing building houses five MP1000 crushers that process ore to final size before it is conveyed to stockyard for rail despatch.
The existing crusher chillers have reached the end of their service life and require replacement. We need to replace the current crusher chillers without disruption to production targets. The new crusher chillers need to increase the overall reliability of the crushing circuit by improving the performance of the installed systems and allowing for offline repair and servicing to the new units without disrupting production.
As far as practicable the works are to be completed off-site and progressed to as far as possible whilst the plant is online, utilising shutdown windows for removal/ installation, tie in and commissioning works so that asset availability is not impacted. This will require the Contractor to fabricate, pre-assemble and pre-commission all components off-site wherever possible and deliver modular units for optimised site installation, tie in and commissioning. The units shall be pre-commissioned in factory by OEM and delivered to site ready for installation and site commissioning in accordance with SS-M118.
