Tender Description
The Department of Justice requires a vendor to supply, configure and support the rollout of a stand-alone Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) System for the Department of Justice with the following objectives:
Automate the collection of hazard, incident and workers’ compensation claim reports.
Provide systems to facilitate the effective management of workers’ compensation cases and non-compensable cases.
Collect safety and health data to provide business areas with meaningful, tailored reporting that will facilitate the proactive management of incidents and injuries rather than diverting resources to reactive management.
Integrate the new EHS System with other corporate systems (where and when practical).
The Department of Justice seeks to adopt a system that can facilitate a risk-based approach to safety and health so the Department is better equipped to understand threats and prioritise the implementation of effective mitigation strategies resulting in both the improved wellbeing of staff, reduce operating costs and improve compliance with statutory and regulatory compliance requirements.
