Tender Description
DSME is seeking expressions of interest from service providers able to provide an Aluminium Helideck in support of the Jansz-Io Compression Project.
Bidder shall be responsible for the design, engineering, manufacture, assembly, inspection, testing and preparation for transport of an Aluminium Helideck for installation on Jansz-IO Field Control Station.
The scope of supply shall include:
• Aluminium Helideck in compliance with CAP 437 8th Edition
• Aluminium support structure
• Tie-down point for helicopter
• Safety net
• Aluminium access system
• Helideck lifesaving and firefighting equipment including Deck Integrated Fire Fighting System (DIFFS)
The helideck shall be designed and provided as a self-extinguishing type capable with adequate drainage to achieve the following:
• Retardation of a helideck fire immediately upon ignition
• Collection and extinguishing of burning jet fuel
• Channeling unburnt jet fuel away from the area of ignited fuel
• Controlling any burning fuel to within the initial fuel spill area, to escape
• Capable of removing fuel spillage and rainfall intensity
• Meet the surface friction requirements
