PROJECT OVERVIEW
Federation University Australia is seeking to engage a reputable, capable and experienced supplier for the 1W Student HQ Modifications construction works project at the University’s Churchill Campus.
Federation University Australia (FedUni) is one of the nation’s leading regional universities. With a reputation for relevance and excellence, FedUni has a strong tradition of education and training delivery spanning 150 years.
We pride ourselves on being an inclusive, open access university. We embrace the freedom and dynamism that comes from being a progressive university with close links to industry, business, communities and technology.
Headquartered in Ballarat, the university’s five campuses from the west of Victoria to the east anchor the range of programs that FedUni delivers throughout Australia and internationally.
Our Churchill Campus is undertaking a program of works to facilitate the introduction of new programs that further diversify the range of programs offered. This program of works will see an increase in the number of students based at the campus. In preparation of this, a central reception is required to assist students and visitors to the campus. This project will see the development of a Student HQ and central service point hub at an existing space within building 1W Level 1. The space will be fitted out with a reception area, offices, consult rooms, storage space and a kitchen.
Note: An early works demolition package has previously been executed.
Tender submissions will be evaluated on value for money, past performance, methodology, construction program (preliminary), OHS criteria, industrial relations management and environmental/social criteria.
Please refer to the tender documentation for an outline of the full scope of works.
A site inspection will be held on Friday 13th March at 10.00am. Tenderers are asked to meet at the Churchill campus Facilities Services office in building 3W (room 245). Please email your confirmation of attendance to: Anton Wray: anton.wray@federation.edu.au
