Tender Description
The Office of Evaluation (OED) of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) is conducting the Strategic Evaluation of FAO’s support to climate action (SDG13), including an assessment of the FAO’s Strategy on Climate Change , and is currently seeking Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from qualified individuals to join the evaluation team. Evaluation Team members are sought who have at least 10 years of experience in both climate change and evaluation and one of the following technical areas:
- Agriculture (agroecology, climate smart and climate friendly agriculture, etc.)
- Forestry (REDD +, agroforestry, forest management etc.)
- Biodiversity
- Fisheries and aquaculture
- Land and Water (land restoration, water management, etc.)
- Livestock (sustainable livestock development, climate smart animal production etc.).
- Pastoralism
- GIS and geo spatial analysis
- Emergency and resilience (climate risk reduction)
- Gender, social inclusion and protection, indigenous people
- Climate financing
