Tender Description
Southern Rural Water provides forward notice that procurement of a suitably qualified contractor to undertake the MID2030 Stage 3 Channel Upgrade works shall commence on or about 3 February 3020. The works consist of irrigation channel regulator upgrades, desilting works and other maintenance works including vegetation removal to the Tinamba TN4 channel in an area between Tinamba and Maffra, Victoria.
It is proposed a two stage tender process will be undertaken with key dates as follows:
- Expression of Interest to shortlist Contractors; opening 3 February 2020
- Tender by shortlisted contractors; opening 9 March 2020
- Contract award; 27 April 2020
- Irrigation Shutdown - Works commence on site; 18 May 2020
- Works complete: 1 July 2020
Please note that works can only be undertaken during the irrigation shut down period with no option to extend the construction period.
