Tender Description
The purpose of this tender is to ensure that the Ararat Rural City Council has access to a committed, long term Concreting Contractor who has the capacity, professional approach and technical ability to fulfil Council’s Concreting Maintenance portfolio with a critical emphasis on quality, delivery and customer service.
The Contractor shall undertake works as required to conform with the contract drawings, including:
* Construction of new kerb and channel
* Construction of new footpaths
* Installation of residential vehicle crossings
* Installation of footpath kerb ramps
* Installation of Tactile Ground Surface Indicators (TGSI)
* Maintenance of existing concrete infrastructure
The works to be completed are to include all Excavation, Disposal, Preparation and Site Reinstatement and Supply of Concrete and all other Materials required to satisfactorily completed the works.
The Annual Areas to be completed under this contract is unknown. Works will be allocated within the requirements of Council’s Road Management Plan & Asset Management Plan, and as funds allow.
