Wheatsheaf Community Hub - Expression of Interest - Main Works Construction Contractor

⁠⁠⁠Moreland City Council is seeking Expression of Interest for the engagement of a main works contractor to deliver the Wheatsheaf Community Hub project in Glenroy

The 4500m2 Hub will become the new home of the Glenroy Library, the Glenroy Memorial Kindergarten and include maternal child health, a community health provider, neighbourhood learning and childcare services. The project includes the redevelopment of the adjoining Bridget Shortell Reserve to the Community Hub. The transition continues into the building with internal landscape, natural light and views and access to nature and garden experiences.

The Wheatsheaf Community Hub is an opportunity to demonstrate City of Moreland’s commitment to world-leading, sustainable design. The project proposes to achieve Passive House certification alongside selected Living Building Challenge Petals.

Tenderers are reminded that a tender is submitted via “Lodge Response” tab and clicking on “Upload File” box. It is preferred if all tender files are compressed (zipped) under one file name and uploaded as one or single file response. A tender is not submitted until (1) the “Save” button is selected, and then (2) “Press to Finalise your Online Bid” is pressed. Submissions will only be accepted via Council’s etendering system with a referred maximum data Upload File of 20Mbyte.

Tenderers are reminded to view the “Forum” for any public notices or addenda in regard to this tender. All communication regarding the tender must be submitted via the forum on this site only and will not be accepted via any other means. Queries submitted three (3) working days before the tender closing date, may not receive a response. Council Officers are not to be contacted directly.

It is the responsibility of the tenderer to ensure that tenders are received by the closing date/time, late submissions will not be accepted. Please commence uploading your tender response at least 2 – 3 hours prior to the deadline.
