Purpose of the Tender
Major Road Projects Victoria (MRPV) is seeking to procure Independent Reviewer services for the Suburban Roads Upgrade (SRU) Program – Northern and South Eastern Packages (the Projects). The opportunity to tender for these roles will be provided via an Expression of Interest (EOI) process through an open tender.
This is anticipated to be issued in late May 2019.
The Opportunity
The State is seeking to engage one or two service provider(s) to be the Independent Reviewer to the Projects. The service provider(s) will be engaged using the standard form Independent Reviewer Deed as part of the Partnerships Victoria suite of PPP template contracts. The scope of services includes ensuring compliance to the contract documents, reviewing and certifying design documentation, certification of quality assurance and identifying and ensuring rectification of defects.
Prequalification Requirements
All interested parties in submitting an EOI will have to demonstrate that they satisfy conflict of interest requirements and hold insurance coverage for Public Liability insurance of up to $50 million and Professional Indemnity insurance of up to $20 million.
