Tender Description
The City of Kingston is seeking tenders from suitably qualified contractors to develop a new building for use as a ‘Changing Places Facility’ at Bicentennial Park. The scope of works for this contract include the following:
* Excavation of soil and site preparation/setup as per Soil Management Plan prepared by Prensa.
* Installation of concrete slab with screw piles
* Utility connections for water and electricity from an existing nearby toilet block
* Sewer connection (PIC number already obtained from South East Water – consent letter in tender documents)
* Line marking alterations and preparation of granitic path for accessible parking space
* Installation of pre-fabricated Changing places unit supplied and delivered by Modus Australia
It is Council’s intention to award the contract in December 2018. Works can commence on-site by mid-February (once school term resumes) and be completed by May 2019.
