Bridge Renewal Works for Manks Rd Bridge - Part A & Tooradin Station Rd Bridge Part B

⁠⁠⁠Tenders are invited from suitably qualified contractors for the Bridge Renewal Works for Manks Road Bridge - Part A (BR106) and Tooradin Station Road Bridge - Part B (BR146). Deck Overlay, Barrier upgrade and associated Works

The works under this tender are subject to availability of funds. Council reserves the right to award either Part A or Part B or Part A and Part B both based on the availability of funds.

The Works comprise but are not limited to:
Obtain all necessary approvals for the works including Melbourne Water
Provision for traffic management and protection of the Works;
Provide construction methodology as required during the works
Prepare shop detail drawings;
Liaise as necessary with the principal and the relevant authorities concerning any activities that effect utility services in the vicinity of the works
Remove and dispose existing traffic barriers and pavement
Dispose all waste materials off site at locations acceptable to the environmental protection agency and other relevant authorities
Clearing and surface preparation of concrete u-slabs
Construct reinforced concrete deck overlay including fixing shear connections into existing u-slabs
Supply and install waterproof joint as per drawings
Construct and install new low performance level bridge barriers
Modify and upgrade existing approach guard fences
Saw cutting the existing edge of pavement
Reconstruct road approaches
Prepare as-built drawings
Concrete patch repairs where required
Epoxy injection of cracks at the soffit of bridge deck where required
All other activities required for the proper completion of the works
Supply and installation of signage, pavement marking and RRPMs.
