Tender Description
The provision of a quality assured contract for the Design, Reconstruction and Construction of Pedestrian Bridges. Marie Wallace Reserve, Bayswater.
The works include the following:
* Structural Design and Proof Engineering of a 20m span pedestrian bridge to Melbourne water requirements and Councils specifications.
* Geotechnical Testing for foundation design
* Construction of new bridge structure including supply and installation of piles, reinforced concrete abutment and wingwalls, steel structural members, F38RTAI FRP 50mm thick decking and 1.25m high handrails with horizontal stainless wire at spacings of no more than 100mm.
* Reconstruction of existing bridge involving the replacement of existing timber decking with F38RTAI FRP 50mm thick decking, and replacement of handrails with 1.25m high handrails with horizontal stainless wire at spacings of no more than 100mm.
Tenderers are to submit their methodology for construction with their submission.
