The Bellarine Bayside Foreshore Committee of Management is responsible for the statutory management of approximately 17 kilometres of foreshore and Crown asset infrastructure under the Crown Land Reserves Act 1978 between Point Richards Road, Point Richards and Beach Road, St Leonards.
In addition to the foreshore itself, the infrastructure managed by Bellarine Bayside includes boating and yacht clubs, community halls, toilet and shower blocks, boat ramps, playgrounds and signage. Bellarine Bayside manages 6 caravan parks on the Bellarine Peninsula at Portarlington, Indented Head and St Leonards encompassing 1,293 caravan sites, camp sites and cabins. The revenue from the hire of these sites funds foreshore management and business operations.
