Unified Communications Solution - Northern Beaches Council

⁠⁠⁠Northern Beaches Council Tender RFT 2018/065 - The Supply of Services for a Unified Communications Solution.

Northern Beaches Council has three telephony solutions currently operating across the organisation. These are hosted externally and internally and are provided by a number of different organisations. Council is now looking to commission a single supplier for a Unified Communications Solution.

Currently, Council has a workforce of over 1800, organised in 22 Business Units that deliver 16 key services. Our workforce includes casual, part time and contracted workers who need access to a full interactive experience with our internal and external customers sometimes on a 24/7 basis. These 1800 people work across 35 sites and require access to approximately 1500 work points.

Council is seeking a customer-centric solution that adapts and evolves with leading technologies while fulfilling its business requirements. Council seeks to develop a strong business partnership with a vendor that understands our unique business needs and those of our customers, and is willing to work with Council to provide a Unified Communications solution that exceeds our customers' expectations.

The scope of the tender includes;
* Software and licencing for a Unified Communications Solution including a customer contact centre
* Any hardware required to support the solution either licensed or purchased
* Cloud hosting or hybrid solutions
* Customisation of the system to meet Councils needs
* Implementation of the Unified Communications Solution
* Decommissioning and disposal of legacy software and hardware
* Training of staff
* Ongoing maintenance of the system.

The Contract term will be 2 (two) years, with an extension at Council's option of a further 2 (two) periods of 12 (twelve) months.

The services are to be carried out strictly in accordance with the requirements in this document. To have tenders considered, contractors will need to ensure that all required information requested in the Request for Tender document is provided.
