The Australian CDC is seeking a lead supplier to support Phase 8 of the Digital Australian Immunisation Handbook System (DAIHS). Phase 8 is the continuation phase for the platform and focuses on maintaining business-as-usual support, progressing essential upgrades, strengthening delivery ways of working and capability, and commencing delivery of priority items from the strategic roadmap across the Australian Immunisation Handbook website, CMS, APIs, the National Immunisation Catch-up Calculator (NICC) and associated mobile applications.
The engagement is intended to continue an established multi-vendor delivery model. Core services include content publishing support, delivery oversight and coordination across suppliers, backlog and governance management, analytics refinements, NICC BRS updates, platform maintenance and testing, and structured improvements to delivery processes, documentation, knowledge transfer and capability uplift.
Specialist technical delivery for the AIH website, CMS and NICC is required to be undertaken by Morpht, and specialist technical delivery for AIH mobile applications is required to be undertaken by Orbital8, with the lead supplier accountable for integrated delivery and management of these relationships.
The procurement also includes required ways of working and capability development activities, alongside targeted enhancements aligned to platform priorities, including improvements to content publishing processes, documentation and knowledge transfer, references functionality, application content delivery approaches and NICC refinements.
The procurement is being undertaken as a continuation arrangement for Phase 8 to maintain delivery continuity, compatibility and value for money while beginning implementation of the strategic roadmap through selected, prioritised improvements.
