SharePoint Support Services

⁠⁠⁠WorkCover Queensland (WorkCover) is seeking Proposals for the provision of SharePoint Support Services.

WorkCover engaged a third party under a Managed Services Contract for break/fix and minor enhancements support. This support contract is due to expire and renewal options have been exhausted. WorkCover are now in a position to go to market to seek offers from vendors for continuation of these services.

In addition to purchasing support services, the Solutions and Technology group of WorkCover are looking for a vendor to supply development/consulting services to enhance the SharePoint platform from time to time. Ideally the engagement for both these services will be from the same vendor. The Customer has issued this Invitation to Offer with the objectives of engaging an organisation to provide services covering support, maintenance, and development/consultancy services in a shared arrangement with Solutions and Technology group for WorkCover's SharePoint 2013 environment.

The resulting Contract will be for an initial Contract Term of 12 months with 2 options to extend for a further period of 12 months each at the discretion of WorkCover.

WorkCover is intending to hire a fulltime employee (FTE) skilled in SharePoint where the opportunity arises during the Contract Term with the intention of building skill and capability in both support and development for SharePoint. The successful supplier must be able to work with WorkCover resources to build support capability, provide technical exptertise where required and cover resourcing shortfalls.
