Tender Description
The Surf Coast Shire Council invites tenders from suitably qualified civil works contractors to design and construct repairs to one timber bridge and construct two replacement culverts or concrete / steel bridges across Stony Creek in the Stony Creek Reserve, Lorne.
Storms in September 2016 damaged two timber bridges were beyond repair. The third suffered damage to its abutments, deck and railings and requires repairs.
This is a design and construct contract for the repairs and two new replacement crossings providing for fire and maintenance access.
Tender documents include concept designs for two replacement concrete culvert structures however tenderers may also bid to supply and install alternative durable structures.
