Hume City Council seeks to appoint a panel of experienced and qualified consultants (one or more) for the provision of specialist services in the following areas;
* Energy efficiency consultants. Skills to include: auditing and identification of energy efficiency opportunities including identifications of costs, energy implications and financial paybacks; measuring and verification; review and advice regarding proposals and opportunities.
* Mechanical engineering consultants. Skills to include assessment, review and design of efficient Heating, Ventilation and Air-conditioning (HVAC). 
* Environmentally Sustainable Design and Development Consultants. Skills to include: review and recommendations of plans, proposals, specifications and draft policies to achieve sound ESD outcomes in new buildings; building energy modelling to assess performance against Section J under the National Construction Code and Built Environment Sustainability Scorecard (BESS) Assessments; capacity to conduct Post Occupancy Evaluations.
