Tender Description
The works under this contract are located at the existing four span bridge on Warrak Road, Ararat and include:
* Demolition & removal of existing bridge, wing walls, abutments, barriers, approach guard rails and some road pavement.
* Construction of a new crown unit bridge, base slab, apron slabs, wingwalls and bridge barriers.
* The re-construction of road pavement, approach guard rails, terminals, signage and line marking.
* All incidental and associated works required to deliver the works.
The Contractor shall supply all labour, equipment and consumables to complete the Contract.
Ararat Rural City Council has undertaken site specific feature survey and geotechnical investigation. The survey (AutoCAD) is available electronically.
The Contractor is required to obtain a Works on Waterway Permit from the Local Catchment Management Authority.
The contractor is to allow for all traffic management associated with this project in their tender price, including detour signage on approval of TMP.
