Hume City Council (“Council”) invites “expressions of interest (“EOIs”) from suitably qualified and experienced Building Contractors for the Construction of two projects - New Pavilion and New Social Club- located at Greenvale Reserve, Section Road, Greenvale.
Works will include redevelopment, alterations and additions in accordance with this Request for Expressions of Interest.
Greenvale Reserve is located at 185 Section Road Greenvale and has three active ovals that support the Greenvale Football Club during the winter season and Greenvale Kangaroos Cricket Club during the summer season.
The Greenvale Football Club plays in the Premiers Division of the Essendon District Football League and the Kangaroos play in the Premier Cricket Victoria Competition.
The number of participants in both these sports is over 600 players from the local community.
The projects are on the same Reserve and are approximately 200 metres apart.
Project 1 Social Club
This project is an upper storey extension of approximately 587 m2 and consists of social space, bar and undercover viewing area
Project 2 New Pavilion
The new pavilion will provide players, officials and spectators with modern amenities and a kiosk and is approximately 445 m2
To minimise disruption to the football season, all work is scheduled to begin at the end of the September.
