⁠⁠⁠Appointment of a consultant To Prepare a Multi-Use Indoor Sports Stadium Concept & Design, Horsham (Phase Two)

Horsham Rural City Council is seeking to engage an appropriately qualified consultant to prepare a concept and design (phase two) for a multi-use indoor sports stadium in Horsham.

The objectives of the Phase Two Concept and Design Project are:
* Provide a recommendation on the preferred location for this stadium.
* To develop concept designs for an indoor sports stadium, suitable for incorporation in a “design and construct” format tender document.

The project will need to consider and incorporate the following:
* Community engagement
* A concept plan for the building and an overall site plan
* The Urban Design Charter, including principles of environmental sustainability, and an Environmentally Sustainable Design report and budget
* Addressing universal/inclusive design while complying with relevant anti-discrimination legislation
* Cost estimates from a quantity surveyor
* A business case for the development of the facility, including possible funding sources
* Consideration of the need for and details of any staged approach to the development, including the potential for incorporation of an existing facility in this approach.

The concept and design must be completed by 30 March 2017.

Tenders close at 12 Noon Thursday 19 January 2017.
