Horsham Rural City Council invites appropriately experienced and qualified construction contractors to build a new Children’s and Community Hub located in Kalkee Road Horsham.

This facility includes a kindergarten, childcare services, Maternal and Child Health Services, supported playgroup, early intervention services and visiting specialist consulting rooms.

This new 1,130 square metre facility will be constructed on a green field site providing a central community hub. The design of the facility combines a range of multi-use areas as follows:
* A large multipurpose space;
* Consulting /interview rooms, meeting room and shared working space;
* Reception/Administration: Public amenities including accessible and baby change facilities;
* Children’s Services that will be delivered in four rooms of varying sizes, with an overall licence for 93 children.

The new facility will be supported by an off-street car park, drop-of zone, access paths, landscaping and play areas.

Award of this Contract is subject to a satisfactory Victorian Industry Participation Policy, (VIPP) report.

Works must be fully complete by 31 October 2017.
