Tender Description
The Yarra Ranges Shire Council invites tenders from suitably experienced parties for the Provision of Sports Field Floodlighting, Upwey Reserve (Melways Ref Map 75 B8).
This project comprises four (4) parts as follows:
Part A - floodlighting to the main oval;
Part B - installation of a purpose built powder-coated electrical cabinet (pillar) on a concrete base at the point of the new power supply;
Part C - installation of electrical cable from the pillar to a designated pit for the new pavilion development; and
Part D - supply and connection of new electrical supply to all existing facilities at the reserve.
To achieve and maintain a minimum average stand of >100 lux level and to comply with Australian Standards AS 2560 Guide to Sports Lighting - General Principles, the Principal will consider both metal halide and light-emitting diode (LED) options.
Tenderers may provide submissions for either or both types of lighting solutions (as per the technical specification).
This project must reach Practical Completion by 31 March 2017.
Tender submissions must be received by Wednesday 25 May 2016 at 3.00pm or as otherwise changed by addenda.
