Tender Description
It is proposed to invite offers for the upgrade of the balustrades in accordance with the design drawings and specifications. The sole purpose of this project is to provide a complete solution for addressing the balustrade non-compliances in full (balustrade height, openings and climability).
The contract is for the design, manufacture, supply, installation and all sundry works required to deliver a complete mesh solution that achieves compliances with the NCC2015 (BCA) D2.16(a) (i) Barriers to Prevent Falls, D216(a) Barrier Construction 1. Barrier Height (d), D2.16 (a) Barrier Construction 2. Barrier Openings (c) and D2.16(a) Barrier construction 1. Barrier Climability (c).
The Facade treatment must be tensioned wire mesh solution in full stainless steel (Exterior Grade) with apertures not greater than 100mm. Computations and drawings are required under this contract.
