Tender Description
The City of Greater Geelong invites tenders from experienced concreting contractors for the supply of concrete and concrete works within the municipality.
The works in this Contract include supply and laying of all concrete pedestrian pavements and kerb and channel for construction works, kerb and channel and footpath replacement works and kerb and channel, footpath and other concrete maintenance works within the municipality of the City of Greater Geelong on a supply needs requirement.
The Contract will operate for an initial term, commencing 1 July 2016 until 30 June 2018, with the option of a further 1 year term at the sole discretion of the Principal.
In the first year of the Contract Term the Contractor shall be paid at the rates specified in the Deed of Agreement. In the second year of the Contract Term the Schedule of Rates will be adjusted as per details outlined in the Specification document.
Tenderers are to provide a schedule of rates for the 2016/17 financial year.
Council reserves the right to select a panel of concreters and provides no guarantee of volume of work during the contracted period.
The tender evaluation panel will consider the details of the tenderer's OH&S system provided in or in response to Schedule 7 of the documents attached. Tenders which do not contain details of OH&S systems which meet the minimum required standards will not be considered for the contract.
