Marie Wallace Bayswater Park Upgrade - Landscape Improvement Works - Stage I

⁠⁠⁠The provision of a quality assured contract for hard and soft landscape works at Marie Wallace Bayswater Park on Mountain Highway, Bayswater. The scope of works includes, but is not limited to the following:

Demolition works: Earthworks, excavations, filling, grading & trimming, sub-base preparation and compaction to achieve design levels, including redistribution of topsoil for reuse in new garden beds: Minor drainage works: Supply and installation of in-situ concrete pavement: Supply and installation of impact absorbing rubberised softfall on existing asphalt surface: Supply and installation of concrete walls at various heights and lengths: Supply and installation of various Play elements: Supply and installation of various park furniture: Cultivation, mulching and installation of garden beds: Supply and installation of advanced and semi-advanced trees: Supply and installation of down lighting to proposed shelters including connections to existing Power supply: Supply and installation of pedestrian lighting and Maintenance of the works.

The contract will be for a period of fourteen (14) weeks from the date of acceptance of tender. Practical completion will be achieved once all landscape works have been completed to the satisfaction of superintendent.

A compulsory pre-tender meeting will be held at the Knox City Council Civic Centre, 511 Burwood Highway, Wantirna South. Conference Room at Room 2, at 4.30pm on Monday, 7th December 2015.

Tender forms and specification will be available from Wednesday 1st December 2015 for a non-refundable cost of $75 at our Customer Service Centre, 511 Burwood Highway, Wantirna South. Alternatively documentation may be downloaded from Council's website www.knox.vic.gov.au/tenders.

Tenders must be submitted on forms supplied and be lodged in the Tender Box at the Civic Centre by 3.00pm Monday 21 December 2015.

Tenders for all contracts must be lodged in the Tender Box on Level 1 at the Civic Centre, 511 Burwood Highway, Wantirna South prior to the closing date in a sealed envelope endorsed with the description of tender and contract number. Facsimile or late submissions will not be considered. Council is not bound to accept the lowest and/or any tender.
