Tender Description
Works consist of the construction of the section of Mullum Mullum shared path between Heads Road and Park Road. This involves constructing approximately 850m of shared path, including 3 bridges, elevated boardwalk structures, concrete path and associated structures.These works will provide the final remaining link to complete the trail connecting the Main Yarra trail and Westerfolds Park to the Eastlink and Koonung Creek trails.
Once completed, the Mullum Mullum trail will be a significant branch of the Melbourne shared path network, and is expected to be popular with walkers and cyclists.
A Tender Meeting, which will include a walk through of the alignment, will be held from 3:30pm to 5:00pm on Tuesday, 15 September 2015.
Prospective tenderers are to meet at 3:30pm sharp in the car park at the corner of Conos Street and Park Road (Melways Map 49, A1)
The lowest or any tender may not necessarily be accepted and any action or contact that may be considered as an attempt to influence a decision of Councillors or Staff shall disqualify the relevant tenderer. Faxed, emailed, hard copy tenders or verbal tenders will not be considered.
