Tender Description
Horsham Rural City Council requires a purpose built storage system for long- and short-term storage of its valuable collections of paintings, sketches and other hanging art works. The storage system is to be constructed from a modular steel support frame and provide smooth shudder free operation.
The racking system will hang and store the Horsham Regional Art Gallery (HRAG) collection of paintings and photographs in a manner that protects the art works and enables easy access to the works by Gallery staff.
All works shall be undertaken in accordance with AS 2124 – 1992, the specification and all other relevant standards.
Annexure A of AS 2124 – 1992 forms part of the contract.
All works must be completed no later than Wednesday, 19 August 2015 at 2:00 PM.
Note: Should the quotations be higher than anticipated the amount of screens may be reduced to ensure we stay on budget.
All works must be undertaken in cooperation/coordination with the lead contractor, Kane Constructions.
Quotations close Tuesday, 20th May 2015 at 2:00 PM.
