Overview
Campaspe Shire Council is inviting submissions from suitably qualified contractors for construction works to undertake landfill cap maintenance at the Colbinabbin, Girgarre and Tennyson closed landfill sites.
Objectives
- Perform maintenance on the existing closed landfill sites
- Improve the low-permeability cap layer thickness to a minimum of 0.5 metres
- Reduce the potential for surface water infiltration, leachate generation, and erosion

The scope includes:
- Landfill cap maintenance works at the Colbinabbin closed landfill site
- Landfill cap maintenance works at the Girgarre closed landfill site
- Landfill cap maintenance works at the Tennyson closed landfill site
