The Department requires a comprehensive, ongoing service to monitor and remove malicious applications from both trusted app stores (such as Apple iTunes), less trusted marketplaces, and general websites across the internet. The solution must include the capability to conduct reverse engineering on identified malicious applications, providing insights into threat actor intentions and emerging trends. Authorisation for removal actions will be granted on a case-by-case basis to ensure brand control.

These digital fraud detection, prevention and protection services are essential for continued brand monitoring and to minimise potential instances of disinformation and reputational damage affecting the Department.
