This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
CSIRO is undertaking a project to assess and plan the replacement of its Research Publication Repository (RPR), a bespoke, in-house system developed in 2012 that stores and provides internal and public access to approved research publications. While the RPR currently integrates with systems such as ePublish, CSIRO’s SAP system and ORCID, it has reached end-of-life.
This RFI seeks to identify suitable system options to replace the RPR with a modern repository solution that preserves CSIRO’s ability to provide a publicly searchable repository of its research outputs, and:
- Meet legislative and regulatory requirements, as well as recognised industry standards
- Supports ongoing enhancement and future capability development
- Complies with CSIRO cybersecurity and enterprise requirements
- Enables the appropriate public availability of research outputs in line with Australian government mandates; and
- Meets the operational and functional needs of CSIRO research units.
The information provided will be used for the purposes of understanding potential solutions in the market and input into business cases. CSIRO greatly appreciates respondent support for this activity but may not be in a position to offer individual debriefs due to resource constraints and the potential follow-on procurement activities.
