Building Gutter and Roof Cleaning

Indigo Shire Council is seeking to engage suitably qualified and experienced Contractors to undertake annual Gutter & Roof Cleaning of its Buildings in Beechworth, Chiltern, Rutherglen, Yackandandah and Surrounding Communities for a period of 3 years.

SCOPE OF WORKS

1. Council is seeking to undertake, at a minimum, one annual gutter and roof clean of selected buildings throughout the Shire. The scope of works includes the cleaning of all gutters, removal of debris from roof surfaces, and the removal and lawful disposal of all litter and debris from the site upon completion of works. Several of these buildings are double storey, many are heritage listed, and four are fitted with certified height safety systems.

2. Responders are to provide a price per building, as per the schedule in the attached document, for Year 1 and must include the provision of a written report on the condition of the gutters and roofs, including photographic evidence. Allowance will be made for a Consumer Price Index (CPI) increase, based on the March Melbourne CPI, for Years 2 and 3 of the contract. Respondents should also confirm that the price per building would apply to the building in the event an additional clean is required.

3. Responses must also include a per-metre rate for any additional buildings that may require gutter and roof cleaning, including associated debris and site litter removal, throughout the year.

Contractors will be engaged under Council’s standard Purchase Order terms included at the end of the attached document.
