Tender Description

The Contractor shall supply all labour, materials, equipment, and supervision required to construct the proposed car parking and associated landscape works in accordance with the issued construction drawings and specification

The scope includes, but is not limited to:

1 Civil & Car Parking Works

• Construction of new asphalt car parking area as shown on the plans, including:

• Standard parking bays

• Accessible parking bays (DDA-compliant)

• Bus/drop-off zone (if applicable per final drawings)

• Pavement construction, including subgrade preparation, base layers, asphalt surfacing, line marking, wheel stops, kerb and channel.

• Construction of new internal circulation road alignment from Grant Street entry.

• Construction of formal pedestrian crossings and footpath links connecting car park to:

• Phoenix College

• Playground

• Multi-court / skate area

• Dog park

• Shared path network

• Installation of wayfinding signage and regulatory signage.

2 Drainage & Stormwater

• Construction of all stormwater infrastructure associated with the car parking area, including:

• Pits, pipes, kerb openings

• Connections to existing drainage network

• Swale edge planting & bioretention zones (as detailed in drawings).

• Earthworks to achieve compliant grades and manage overland flow.

3 Landscaping Works

• Topsoil preparation, mulching, and planting throughout the car park and entry landscape, including:

• Trees (species and quantities as scheduled)

• Shrub and groundcover planting

• Swale / riparian planting zones

• Turf or hydroseeding where indicated.

• Protection of existing trees and vegetation to be retained (tree protection zones per AS 4970).

4 Furniture, Lighting & Amenities

• Installation or relocation of:

• Bollards

• Seats, picnic settings, bins

• Drinking fountain (if nominated)

• Bike hoops near play area

• Conduit installation for future lighting upgrades (if specified in drawings or discussed with Electrical team).

5 Site Management

• Traffic and pedestrian management for safe access during construction.

• Temporary fencing and site security.

• Protection of park users, school access, and community events.

• Compliance with environmental management, including sediment and erosion control.
