Swift Module Development

Supply to NSW Resources with business analysis, design and development services to deliver an enhanced staff deployment management capability for NSW Resources’ ServiceNow customised application.

Project goals

Develop and deploy an enhanced process within NSW Resources' customised ServiceNow application to provide an intuitive means of planning and reporting on deployment of team members, sharing information within and across teams and provide a more uniform approach to reduce cost and effort.

Scope

A module utilising existing licencing (App Engine), custom task types and tables within NSW Resources ServiceNow instance. The module will provide an improved inspection resource allocation and tasking capability including a customised User Interface (UI) to achieve a ‘drag-and-drop’ scheduling capability.

The vendor will build on existing functional requirements to:

• Review, refine and validate business requirements for the module.
• Prepare high-level designs for acceptance by the business.
• Design the module and develop a detailed development backlog in ServiceNow.
• Build the designed module in the NSW Resources ServiceNow instance.
• Assist with UAT and remediate defects identified.
• Provide documentation of the solution and assist in development of training materials.
• Provide a period (up to 1 month) of hypercare with appropriate resource availability following go live.

It is a Mandatory Requirement of this tender that you are an Advanced supplier registered on the ICT Services Scheme (SCM0020) in Category M – Systems and Solutions – M02 - Custom application development including delivery ‘as a service’.
