Queens Park Basin Civil Construction Works

The City is currently looking for an experienced Contractor to deliver the civil construction component of this project. The City is seeking the submission of a lump sum tender to deliver the bulk earthworks and drainage upgrades as detailed the Specifications.

The City of Canning has received funding under the Australian Government's Urban Rivers and Catchments Program to carry out weed control, revegetation and drainage interventions throughout various project locations. One of the City's projects under this program is the construction of a wetland at Queens Park reserve, located on the corner of George Street and Centre Street in Queens Park. This constructed wetland will function as a biofilter to improve water quality as well as increase ecosystem health and biodiversity.

For the delivery of this project there are three main phases of works: vegetation clearing, civil construction and landscaping.
