The opportunity
The Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA) is responsible for maintaining the road network in the forest estate. DEECA utilises a road classification system to describe standards and maintenance regimes.
The DEECA Strategic Fire Road Network (SFRN) is used to control and prevent bushfire, by utilising these roads as major fire breaks or burn boundaries in emergency situations and when conducting fuel reduction burns. Government Road is a key connecting road through the Jeeralang block, but the crossing at Waterhole Creek has periodic problems during storms or other periods of high rainfall.
The Department is seeking responses to this Request for Tender (RFT) T2025-0727 for the provision of Culvert Replacement/Installation at Government Road – Waterhole Creek.
