Construction of Wombat Crossing, Barkly Street, Ararat

The Ararat Rural City Council is tendering for construction of raised safety platform in Barkly Street, Ararat to improve pedestrian crossing safety in this precinct. Work location is in Barkly Street between Vincent Street and Ingor Street, Ararat.

The project requires the removal and disposal of existing kerb, laying of concrete pavement, asphalt works, landscaping and associated drainage works, in accordance with the tender schedules, drawings and specification.

The Contractor shall be responsible for all labour, materials, plant hire, freight, fees and other sundry expenses required to complete the works.

 The contractor is required to obtain all necessary permits, i.e. Ararat Rural City Council Working in road reserve, DTP MOA, service authority approvals, etc. prior to work commencing.

Determination of necessary areas or volumes to achieve design specifications are the responsibility of the tenderer, values provided by Council are indicative only.

Council hereby invites submissions from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the construction of raised safety platform in High Street, Ararat.
