SLRSP Kerang Package

The Gannawarra Shire Council is seeking Tenders from appropriately qualified and experienced Contractors to deliver a small package of safety upgrades in Kerang, under the TAC’s Safer Local Roads and Streets Program, comprising two components.

Project 1 - Victoria & Wyndham Streets, involves the construction of a minor intersection upgrade, including splitter islands and speed cushions, to improve driver behaviour and reduce approach speeds at a known high-risk crossroad intersection adjacent to a Primary School.

Project 2 – Boundary Street, involves converting an existing unmanned School Crossing into a raised Wombat Crossing to provide a safer route to the nearby school for students, as well as an improved crossing point for other pedestrians at all times of the day.

Tenderers will be required to supply all materials, plant, and labour necessary to complete the works, and are encouraged to consider constructing the two projects concurrently to maximise efficiencies.

All works must be completed by 29 May 2026 to comply with funding conditions.
