Tender Description
The City of Port Phillip Council (Council) operates a Resource Recovery Centre (the Facility) at 78 White Street, South Melbourne which receives domestic waste and small quantities of commercial waste from the local community.
The Resource Recovery Centre (RRC) collection services contract will involve the collection of the waste and recyclable materials streams listed in the specification provided in this RFT from the Facility.
The purpose of this procurement is to find a partner to fulfill reporting and regulatory compliance obligations and provide overall management of the operational requirements including storage receptacles, transport and disposal.

Release of Invitation - Friday 14 November 2025
End period for questions on Forum - Thursday 4 December 2025
Tender closing date - 5:00pm, Friday 12 December 2025 (late tenders will not be accepted)
Contract Commencement - Monday 9 February 2026
