This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
The Department of Education seeks to uplift artificial intelligence (AI) capability among its Senior Executive Service (SES) members. Recognising the rapidly evolving nature of AI and its growing relevance to public sector leadership, it is essential to ensure that SES staff possess up-to-date knowledge and practical understanding of AI concepts, opportunities, and risks.
The objective of this engagement is to procure experienced AI specialist/s skills to design and deliver targeted training to uplift the practical AI capability and knowledge base of SES members. This will equip SES with the ability to make informed strategic decisions regarding AI adoption and its integration within the department; it will also teach them how to use the functionality of AI through Microsoft Copilot to assist them in their daily roles and how it can help other team members with their specific work areas.
NOTE 1)
Respondents may choose to include cost components for face to face training across various States as indicated, note however interstate face to face training may or may not be required - see "Describe the Working Arrangement" component of this RFQ.
NOTE 2)
This procurement and resulting contract may be used by The Department of Employment and Workplace Relations for AI Capability Training for Executives via separate work order(s).
Key Deliverables and Acceptance Criteria:
Delivery of Copilot-focused AI training and coaching to approximately 75 SES members. Refer to Attached "Requirements" document for full details.
