Tender Details
Tender Description
WaterSmart seeks to reduce demand on drinking water by improving water use efficiency at Local Government Authority (LGA) community sports and recreation facilities (facilities) and private and public golf courses. The program funds the completion of water use and efficiency audits (WUEA).
There are 11 LGAs in the Greater Western Water (GWW) footprint each with multiple sporting and recreation facilities. The facilities typically contain the following water uses:
- irrigated sporting field/s;
- ablution facilities/change rooms;
- drinking water fountains.
There are approximately 100 facilities that may be eligible for WUEAs.
There are ~25 golf courses in the GWW footprint. Golf clubs typically contain the following water uses:
- irrigated greens and landscape areas;
- club houses;
- ablution facilities/change rooms;
- drinking water fountains.
GWW is seeking to establish a panel of appropriately experienced consultants (suppliers) for access by GWW to undertake the Water Use and Efficiency Audits (WUEA) on behalf of client organisations (LGAs and golf clubs). The purpose of the WUEA is to identify cost effective opportunities to deliver water savings.
The audit program will operate until July 2027.
