Tender Description

Mitchell Shire Council is seeking a suitably qualified contractor for the construction of three (3) "Safer Local Roads and Streets" (SRLS) project sites in Seymour, Victoria, involving the construction of raised pedestrian crossings and traffic safety improvements.

The scope of work requires the construction of;

Station and Wallis Street Raised Pedestrian Crossings: Construction of raised pedestrian crossings at two key intersections, incorporating kerb and channel works, asphalt pavement, line marking, traffic signage, and localised drainage upgrades.
Pollard Street Raised Pedestrian Crossing: Installation of a raised pedestrian priority crossing with associated concrete kerb works, asphalt surfacing, line marking, traffic signage, and minor drainage improvements near community access points.
Chittick Place Closure and Turnaround Area: Construction of a turnaround facility including pavement works, kerb and channel installation, footpaths, signage, line marking, and reinstatement of nature strips following the closure of Chittick Place.

Works will be engaged under the Mitchell Shire Minor Works Contract
