The Casey City Council will undertake this procurement to obtain accurate, up to date condition assessment and asset data for its open space & recreation assets.

The Council is responsible for delivering services and ensuring public safety, which requires that assets such as sports fields, playgrounds, shelters, public furniture, fencing, retaining walls, water fountains, and other open space assets are maintained in good condition.

This project will allow the Council to:

•  Verify the current condition of over 21,500 assets across Casey.
•  Identify assets that are disposed, missing, or duplicated, and adjust records accordingly.
•  Support asset lifecycle planning, renewal forecasting, and maintenance scheduling using reliable data.

At the completion of the contract, the Council expects to have:

• Complete and accurate datasets for all inspected assets, including a tribute data, location, and condition ratings
•  Brownfield Replacement Costs for the assessed assets.
•  Identification and documentation of assets requiring maintenance, renewal, or disposal.
•  Improved ability to make data driven investment decisions for future asset maintenance and renewal programs, reducing long-term costs and risks.
