Introduction - WELCOME to the University of Sydney Expression of Interest (EOI) (Project ID- WS240183)

2 PURPOSE

The purpose of this EOI is to invite suitably qualified and experienced suppliers to submit their interest in being considered for the provision of a digital supplier onboarding and assurance solution. This solution will support the University's efforts to streamline supplier onboarding, maintain master data integrity, and enhance compliance, transparency, and security.

The EOI process aims to -

a) Identify and assess suppliers with the expertise, capacity, and experience to deliver a fit-for-purpose digital supplier onboarding and assurance platform.

b) Establish a shortlist of potential partners to be invited to participate in the forthcoming Request for Tender (RFT) process.

c) Promote fair, transparent, and competitive procurement practices in line with the University's procurement policy.

3 SCOPE OF WORKS

The scope of this EOI covers the provision of a digital solution (software and/or managed service) to support supplier onboarding, assurance, and fraud detection. Respondents must complete the EOI Form titled Expression of Interest (EOI) for Supplier Onboarding and Assurance Platform as part of their submission (link provided in the next section).

Key capability areas include, but are not limited to-

1)Automated verification of supplier credentials (e.g ABN, bank account, sanctions screening).

2)Digitally enabled document collection, approval workflows, and supplier self-service options.

3)Real-time integration with SAP Ariba and UniBuy.

4)Ongoing monitoring and assurance of supplier master data integrity.

5)Alignment with Third Party Risk Management practices, including risk assessment, tracking, and mitigation throughout the supplier lifecycle.

6)Reporting and dashboards to support governance, compliance, and operational decision-making.

The University seeks solutions that demonstrate innovation, scalability, and the ability to deliver measurable improvements in efficiency, fraud risk reduction, compliance, and supplier experience.

4 SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Respondents are required to submit the following by COB, 19 September 2025-

a) A completed EOI Form is accessible by copying this link in your browser

b) A Capability Statement submitted via TenderBox.

5 PROJECT TIMING

The University will assess EOI responses and invite shortlisted respondents that best meet the critical criteria to participate in the Request for Tender (RFT) process, estimated to commence in October/November 2025.
