Tender Description

This Tender is invited by the Issuer.

In the 2024-25 Budget, the Australian Government provided $588.5 million over eight years from 2024-25 and $113.4 million per year ongoing for a new national early intervention service (NEIS) providing free digital mental health support. The NEIS will provide support for people at risk of, or experiencing, mild mental ill-health or transient distress to get the right support when they need it.

Implementation of the National Early Intervention Service (NEIS) requires a structured approach to data management and analytics. To monitor progress towards meeting the NEIS objectives over the lifecycle of the program, data will need to be collected on service quality, participation, workforce and viability, and suitably analysed to support implementation oversight, regular performance monitoring and reporting, and formal evaluations.

The Department of Health, Disability and Ageing (Department) is seeking to engage a provider to provide data analytics and program management capability that can embed suitably qualified data analyst(s) –APS6-EL1 equivalent staff –within the System Enablers Branch (Business Area) through to 30 June 2027. Embedded staff from the provider will work closely with the Department’s Information and Technology Division’s (ITD) Data and Analytics Platform Services (DAPS) as they build the data system to ingest and store NEIS data to ensure the Business Areas data needs and requirements are met. The provider will provide ongoing analysis and reporting of NEIS data over crucial first stage of implementation from 1 January 2026.
