Airservices Australia is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination and delivery of the Melbourne Taxiway Renaming Project, a critical enabling initiative supporting the Melbourne New Third Runway (M3R) Program.
The Project Manager will be responsible for managing all phases of project delivery, including project planning, scheduling, governance, reporting, stakeholder engagement, risk and issue management, and implementation activities. The role will ensure the taxiway renaming project is delivered in alignment with M3R Program milestones, operational readiness requirements, and Airservices governance frameworks.
The successful resource will work collaboratively with Airservices operational and technical teams, Melbourne Airport, regulatory authorities, aviation stakeholders and external service providers to coordinate operational change activities and ensure successful implementation. Key activities include stakeholder communications, safety and operational assessments, implementation and transition planning, change management, and coordination of updates to aviation publications, procedures, systems and training materials.
The Project Manager will be expected to deliver outcomes within agreed timeframes while ensuring compliance with Airservices safety, regulatory and operational requirements. The role will also be responsible for managing critical dependencies between the taxiway renaming project and the broader M3R Program, ensuring risks are effectively managed and impacts to live aviation operations are minimized.
