Council is seeking to engage a contractor to receive and sort Recyclables for reuse.

Recyclables will be delivered to the contractor’s facility by Council’s Delivery Contractor.

The contractor must provide all the resources, equipment, personnel and premises necessary to accept Material collected from Kerbside Collection Services and Public Place Recycling Bins for sorting for reuse or sale.

Council currently plans to introduce a 4-weekly, 80 litre kerbside Glass Collection Service at some time in the future. At this stage it is anticipated that the Glass Collection Service will be introduced in 2026.

Tenderers are required to submit a tendered rate per tonne to receive and process Recyclables at the Materials Recovery Facility (MRF).
