Tender Description
Council is seeking tenders from qualified and capable contractors for the Design and Construction of two hard surface tennis/pickleball courts to replace the existing en tout cas courts as well as the resurfacing of four synthetic clay courts, including repair of the base asphalt layer as required at Greensborough Tennis Club, Greensborough Highway trail, Greensborough, VIC 3088.
The scope of works generally includes but is not limited to:
• Site investigations including surveying as required.
• Design of new hard surface courts including drainage.
• Construction of new hard surface courts replacing existing en tout cas, linemarking to include for two tennis courts and four pickleball courts.
• Removal of existing synthetic clay court surface.
• Repair of existing subsurface, including tree root removal, as required.
• Relaying of new court surface including required sand.
• Minimum 7-year warranty on new synthetic court surface.
• Minimum specifications of synthetic surface as per below table.
- Pile Height 11mm
- Pile Weight 1033g/sqm
- Backing UV Stabilised Polypropylene
- Yarn UV Stabilised Polyethylene
• Mobilisation and site establishment.
• Set out of works.
• All works as per design drawings.
• Ensuring the works are undertaken safely and in accordance with all Council and statutory safety requirements.
• Location and protection of any underground and above-ground services in the works area.
• Site clean up.
• Warranties and 12 Month DLP.
