The Rural City of Wangaratta requests tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the construction and replacement of the existing single span timber Bridge with a new single lane, single span concrete Bridge. The site is located 900 metres East of the Markwood-Tarrawingee Road and is approximately 15 kilometres Southeast of Wangaratta.

Ivones Lane will have speed restrictions in place for the duration of the works, and a temporary access track constructed adjacent to the bridge to allow safe passage of local traffic (including agricultural equipment). The temporary access track is to be decommissioned and removed once the new bridge is established and deemed safe for vehicle traffic.

The new works have been designed in accordance with the requirements of AS5100-2017 with an SM1600 design load capacity.

Tenders will include the following:

• Completion of Response Schedule as supplied on the tendering portal (completion is mandatory).
• Construction Methodology to be submitted as part of assessment.
• Works programme/timeline showing key dates and milestones.
• Evidence of experience in successfully delivering similar types of projects.
• Completion of the Schedule of Rates spreadsheet (information to be submitted in the provided template).

Tenderers should make their own assessment of the Services to be provided and base their tenders accordingly.

Submissions

All responses must be lodged via this online e-Tendering Portal; submissions received via any other means (including hardcopy) will not be accepted, nor considered. Incomplete and late submissions will also not be considered.
